Weekend update
Another fine weekend in SF. Slightly cooler as if Autumn is coming soon.
Saturday: went for a very long walk from home to Corona Heights to Castro to Eureka Valley to Noe Valley to Mission for dinner at Weird Fish. We had the scallops appetizer: yum yum seared with some chickpea buttery kind of sauce, first time for that one. Nancy had the almond dijon trout which was good. I had the Jamaican sauce catfish which was delicious. (Blackened catfish there is the best. Who knew catfish was so light and unfishy and simply good!) Very lightly sauteed baby spinach on the side = highly recommended. Mixed veggies in pesto = ditto. Cobbler dessert = pretty good only. Walked home.
Sunday: Brooke stopped by as she was passing thru the city. We had lunch at Sunflower and talked wedding planning. Brooke had lots of good suggestions. Afterwards came back and watched the Blue Angels from the roof! Sweet! They did fly-by's over the city including one in formation directly over our place which was very awesome.
Sunday evening: working, and now procrastinating.
